The former Pooley's bar was reopened under new management as The Snug in April 2026 after a two year period of closure. It is an attractive pub, sympathetically refurbished and is now open three days a week. Popular with local drinkers and visitors alike. Has three rooms heated by log burning stoves in the colder months. The bar area stocks three changing real ales, keg beers quality wines and spirits. Family and dog friendly. The Stagecoach Scunthorpe to Kirton/Lincoln bus routes pass through the village.
