  • Summer Pub of the Season Presentation to the Hop Inn, Brigg Saturday 26 July 2025 12:00 Hop Inn

    Our Summer Pub of the Season (POTS) award goes to the Hop Inn in Brigg. This new pub offers a diverse, ever-changing range of craft beers and ciders and has rejuvenated the drinking scene in Brigg. Allied to this they run a number of other events such as tap takeovers and Meet-the-Brewer evenings. Presentation date now confirmed.

  • Trip to St Mars of the Desert Brewery Taproom Saturday 9 August 2025 10:00 St Mars of the Desert Brewery & Taproom

    Branch trip to Sheffield to visit the St Mars of the Desert (SMOD) Brewery Taproom, also taking in the Station Tap and Rutland Arms beforehand. SMOD is running SMODFest over this weekend, which will feature a range of their continental-style lagers, plus German music and sausages for sale! Aim to catch the 1008 train to Sheffield. Early drinks in the Station Tap then lunch and drinks at the nearby Rutland Arms. Catch the tram to Attercliffe from the city centre to get to the Taproom around 2 pm - the taproom is about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop. Return home about 6 pm. Open to all local CAMRA members and friends (table now booked at SMOD).

  • 5th St Peter's Church Beer Festival 17:30 Thursday 18 – 22:30 Saturday 20 September 2025 St Peter's Church

    5th St Peter's Church Beer Festival at St Peter's Church Bottesford. Organised by the church with help from Scunthorpe & District CAMRA. Features 25 + real ales, up to 15 different traditional ciders, wines, pre-mixed gin & tonics and non-alcoholic beers (cans). Food at all sessions. Festival tombola. Tables/seating available indoors plus outdoor gazebo with bench seating. Opening times: Thursday 18 September: 1730 - 2230 pm Friday 19 & Saturday 20 September: 12 noon - 2230 pm £1 entry fee. Half or pint hire glasses £2 (refundable).

    The 5th St Peter's Church Beer Festival featuring a range of real ales and traditional ciders, plus wines, pre-mixed gin and tonics, non-alcoholic beers and food at all sessions.
