This former Sergeants Brewery tap, built in the 1700s, is a traditional pub which retains its original features. Simply furnished with warming open fires in most rooms following refurbishment and extension. Also has an outdoor courtyard with separate cabins. Main outlet for Lincolnshire Craft Beers with four changing guest beers and a real cider plus craft and continental beers on tap alongside a good selection of bottled continental and British beers and ciders and a wide selection of malt whiskies and wines. No food available but cold food can be brought in and consumed on the premises. Free Wifi service available to customers. Trains to Brigg only run on weekdays, one train per day in each direction.

Village community pub alongside the River Trent. Under new ownership in 2016, but the pub ambience has been retained along with the on-site brewery. The three rooms are supplemented with a drinking area and picnic style bench seating on the riverbank.
